Light is the heart of the Danish hygge – it fundamentally influences the mood of our home and thus our well-being. In order to create an intimate, homely atmosphere, we need to find the lighting that best fits our personality. Lamps can perform a variety of functions: they can be used as auxiliary or mood lighting, or as a main light source, depending on the design.

Design lamps
The absolutely central of our home is the pendant or the chandelier. The floor lamp and the wall lamp already fulfill both functions: they can be used to illuminate a darker corner or wall, or they can function as reading lamps. Table lamps can be used for work or as additional lighting.
The special Scandinavian design lamps from Danish Bolia and Frandsen, as well as the lamps from Normann Copenhagen are special designed pieces that can be a stylish and practical accessory. The industrial-style lamps of Zuiver and Dutchbone from Holland fit perfectly into the loft apartments.
